Hazardous Waste Transfer StationHazardous Waste Transfer StationPOLYECO S.A. operates a fully licensed Hazardous Waste Transfer Station (HWTS).
The HWTS has a capacity of 120 t. of packed waste and has been designed and built in conformance with the highest safety standards.
It has an automatic fire detection and fighting system whereas a special HDPE liner has been placed underneath to prevent eventual leakage in the ground and the groundwater.
The HWTS purpose is to offer storage capabilities for various types of hazardous waste (flammable, toxic, corrosive etc.) so that they can be immediately removed from the producer’s site without posing a risk to health or the environment.
The waste is then transferred according to the European law in certified European disposal facilities. |
