ServicesACTIVITIES
POLYECO , will be active in the following fields:
* Valorisation of liquid and organic sludge to secondary solid fuel.
* Valorisation of organic, liquid and oily water to secondary liquid fuel.
* Valorisation of non hazardous waste (mainly Packaging material) so that they can be used as secondary fuel.
* Valorisation of aluminium oxides for aluminium dross as raw material in the industry.
* Transfer station of hazardous waste that will be sent abroad for thermal of chemical destruction.
* Treatment of the liquid waste in our plant, so that the effluents fulfill the specifications of existing regulations
* Full chemical Analysis of wastes
The whole procedure:
* Will not involve any thermal, biological or chemical treatment, only physical and mechanical procedures will be involved.
* Will not use water as raw material, while the water contained in the raw material that will be received will be thoroughly treated and purified by physicochemical means.Â
* Â Will not valorize materials to secondary fuels the following:
* Pesticides
* Dioxins or material polluted by dioxins
* PCBs or material polluted by PCBs in a concentration over 50 ppm.
* Radioactive materials
* Hospital waste
* Any other material whose composition or form does allow treatment in order to produce secondary fuel.
All the above mentioned material will be send to recognized companies abroad for chemical or thermal destruction according to EU directives for the safe collection, temporary storage , packaging and transportation , after temporary storage in POLYECO.

F) The modern laboratory for chemical analysis of POLYECO S.A. is eccredited by the Hellenic Accreditation System (ASYD) according to the Standard ELOT EN ISO/TEC 17025:2000 |
